Chinese Checkers is a strategy board game that originated in Germany in 1892 under the name “Stern-Halma.” Despite its name, it has no connection to China. In 1928, the game was introduced in the United States by Bill and Jack Pressman, who marketed it to appeal to American interest in oriental imports at the time. The game can be played by two to six players, individually or in teams, and involves moving marbles across a star-shaped board to the opposite corner. The objective is to be the first to move all your marbles to the destination triangle.
In Online Chinese Checkers, each player starts with ten marbles placed in a triangle at one of the six points of the star-shaped board. On their turn, a player can move one marble: either to an adjacent space or by jumping over one or more adjacent marbles (either their own or an opponent’s) into a space directly beyond.
